Student testimonials

Noor Adi
Marketing, School of Business Administration
First-year Student

"Last semester (in the Bridge Program) was one of the best times of my life; I managed to finally step out of my comfort zone, I faced my fears and I was so proud of every step I had taken. This week, I officially start my journey towards earning my bachelor’s degree and I can't help but be excited for what's to come."⁣

Prathyush Pradeep
Architecture, College of Architecture, Art and Design
Senior

"One of the highlights of my time at representing AUS was as the Global Winner at the Global Undergraduate Awards in the Architecture & Design Linguistics category, for my paper, “DXB Highline: Reinventing the Parking Garage Typology” under the mentorship of Professor Michael Hughes."⁣

Reem Alejla
Environmental Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences
First-year Student

"I don't want to be someone who just cares about the environment, I want to know what measures need to be taken to fight climate change. That's why I chose my major, to help me gain that understanding. I can't begin to fathom the possibilities that lie ahead of me; the changes to be made and the risks to be taken. Most importantly, I'm looking forward to just enjoying my college experience."

Melissa Bayik
Multimedia Design, College is Architecture, Art and Design
Class of 2004
Head of Brand, Arada

"Having moved from Brisbane, Australia, I embarked on a design degree along with a cultural immersion at AUS. The professors created the right atmosphere for learning-through-doing, through questioning and discussions. Students were enthusiastic, welcoming and international – bringing different perspectives to topics. We were taught to be creative and critical thinkers, practical problem solvers, and responsible global citizens. Now AUS CAAD is one of the leading design schools in the region, and one which our company looks to recruit from.

My degree has opened many doors for me, and largely due to the friendships I have made at AUS, I now call UAE home."
